The Free Site

The reference, the Character Creator, the Encounter Builder and share links are free and need no account. This is an unofficial web version of the Daggerheart System Reference Document.

Supporter Subscription

Supporter is an optional subscription at $2.99 per month or $24 per year that adds cloud sync of characters and encounters across devices. It renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Stripe (through Link) is the merchant of record: it processes the payment, may add tax at checkout where required, and sends receipts and payment-related support. You can cancel any time from Manage subscription (Stripe Customer Portal) on your Account page, or through Link.

Cancellation and Refunds

• We do not offer refunds or proration for partial periods.
• When you cancel, access continues to the end of the period you paid for. Then sign-in and sync stop. The saves stored on our server are kept for 30 days, so they come back if you resubscribe within that time, and are then deleted. Copies in your browsers and your share links keep working.
• Deleting your account cancels the subscription immediately, with no refund for the current billing period, and deletes your account data on our server.
• Stripe's refund and consumer-protection policies may also apply (for example, Link support may issue a refund in some cases).

Which personal data we still hold after you cancel or delete your account is described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable Use

Don't abuse the sync service or API: no automated scraping, load testing, attempts to access other accounts, or storing content unrelated to the tools. Each account can store up to 1,000 characters and 1,000 encounters, up to 64 KB each. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service.

Price Changes

If the price changes, we will email subscribers in advance, and the new price applies from your next renewal. You can cancel before then.

The Service As Is

The site and Supporter are provided "as is", without warranties. Features may change, and we may end the service; if we end Supporter, we will tell subscribers in advance. Keep your own copies: the browser saves and Export all links are there for that. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located in Texas, except where your local consumer law gives you rights that can't be waived.

Changes to These Terms

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we will update this page and the effective date above, and email subscribers about changes that affect the subscription. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
